We obtain information about you when you book one of our campervans and when you use our website. The Camper Adventure website places cookies which are small data files on your computer or handheld device. This is standard practice for all websites.

Our site is GDPR compliant, and we have ensured that necessary precautions on storing and collecting data have been put in place both for the website and the storage of this data on other systems and offline.

 

What type of information is collected from you?

You can browse our website without entering any personal information. Only general, information is logged from site visits, this might include IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. This means that a user’s session is tracked, but the user will not be individually identified.

When making a booking the personal information we collect will include your name, address, email address, your payment card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third-party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below. Information we collect to insure the driver can include, copies of the driver's licence, utility bills and redacted bank statements. This is for insurance purposes only and is held for a maximum period of 2 years in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other legal obligations.
